So I was sad that I never kept a better "record" through-out my pregnancy with Finnian. I was just reading back on the posts now, and regret it, so I'm going to try to post every Sunday (this is to make up for last Sunday!) and follow a bit of a "survey". Also I will put up belly pics, but you probably won't see any changes until 20 weeks or something!

How far along: 6 weeks
Size of baby: (from whattoexpect.com) Length is approx. a quarter of an inch - the size of a blueberry!
Total weight gain/loss: I didn't weight myself this week... but at 5 weeks I had lost 2 pounds from the week before (even with Liz being here and us eating a whole box of Ferrero Roches!)
Maternity Clothes: Definitely not, but I've been thinking ahead. With Finn I didn't buy any until around 23 or 25 weeks, and even then, if I had
THESE (click here) I probably could have gone longer without maternity pants. The picture in the link is a "tummy sleeve", it works in a few ways, but first off you can just unbutton your regular pants and wear it over top, and it makes your regular pants last longer!
Gender: Well with Finnian I didn't want to find out, I wanted a boy, and I felt like it was a boy. With this baby I want to find out, I would like a brother for Finn, but I kind of feel like it might be a girl (and I'm really excited about it!!) But way too early to know... I want a boy for Finn, and the fact that we wouldn't have to buy anything because I kept all of his stuff... but a change would be nice, and you've gotta love cute summer girlie outfits!
Movement: Not a thing!
Sleep: If I had done this "survey" with Finnian I never would have put this in, because to my recollection I had no sleep issues with him. But totally different this time... but I'm not 100% sure it's pregnancy other than the fact that other people talk about having sleep issues while pregnant. I get SO tired around 6pm (if not earlier) if I don't nap, so I try to nap, but it takes me at least 45 minutes to fall asleep, if I fall asleep at all. Night's not so bad, other than having to get up to pee (another thing I never had to deal with when pregnant with Finn)
What I miss: Coke - I love my coke! haha... but I'm cutting back on the sugar and caffeine, at least for the first trimester.
Cravings: I wouldn't really call this a craving, but because I want to make sure I eat more vegetables, and we got some money coming in (more on that later), we splurged and bought ranch dressing for me to having cauliflower with (I used to be an addict). It was 4 euros for one bottle!!
Symptoms: I knew I must have been pregnant about 3 days before my expected period, because I woke up in the middle of the night to pee. 3 days in a row!! This is so not like me... I usually wake up in the morning having to go, but NEVER enough to actually get me out of my warm bed and down the stairs to the bathroom. I think I've only gone 2 or 3 nights since then without having to get up. I hate it, and this never happened with Finn. Otherwise being tired, and being hungry (JUST like I was with Finn). I'll eat a regular breakfast, lunch or dinner, and then within a half hour be HUNGRY! Usually a banana will suffice if I get to it right away, otherwise I feel a little ick.
Best moment of the week: Getting to tell everyone!! I took the test while Liz was here, so I told her right away, but man, I'm so not good at secrets like this! Also I've been wearing my St. Monica medal (patron said of unborn children) and Finn has noticed it, so I told him that I'm wearing it for the baby in my tummy. Now whenever I wear it he points to it, and then lifts up my shirt and points at my belly button!!
