Two months old already! Not much has changed. Oliver doesn't fall asleep EVERY time I try to give him tummy time anymore, but he also doesn't really try to lift his head all that much. He just likes to chill out down there.

He's still a great little baby. Got his 2 month vaccinations last week and cried a bit right as it happened, but stopped pretty quickly and it didn't seem to bother him at all after that. Elle got her 4 year old vaccinations at the same time, and she was such a brave little girl, didn't shed a tear when it was done. I took her and Oliver on my own, so Elle got hers first, and then when Oliver was getting his she was giving him kisses and cuddles. She has a big soft spot for this boy.

During the day he's pretty consistent with sleeping and eating. He eats, stays awake for about an hour and then I put him on his tummy in his bassinet and he usually falls asleep like that with maybe a few bum pats or binky replacements needed. He used to then nearly sleep until the next feed 3 hours from the beginning of the last feed... But lately he wakes a bit earlier, or else wants a feed sooner.
| After their vaccinations |
At night I either feed him out in the living room if he needs a feed before 7:15ish, and then when he's getting drowsy around 7:30 I wrap him up and cuddle a bit and then put him to bed. Or else if it's closer to that bedtime for the feed, then I feed him in my room and put him right to bed. After that he usually will need the binky replaced a few times, but doesn't need anything beyond that to fall asleep. He had been sleeping until 1-3 which was great, but he's been waking a big earlier lately.

| Evening cuddles, when he's a bit sooky after dinner but it's not bedtime yet |
I had his 8 week we'll check on Thursday and am a bit anxious that he hadn't gained much weight. Previously from 2-4 weeks he had gained nearly 500g. This time it was 4-8 weeks, so a four week period instead of 2, and he hadn't even gained 400g. So he's dropped from being over the 50th percentile, to now under the 25th, closer to the 15th percentile. But I've heard a lot of moms go through this, and really not to worry as long as they aren't losing weight, or having any other issues. So I'll try not to worry! The extra feed he's doing in the night is tiring right now, but actually makes me feel better that he's getting an extra feed or two in the day now than he had been previously, so hopefully that will help with the weight gain as well.
Otherwise not much to report! Here's a few more random pics.
